Inspirations:
Changes from time to time, but generally finds inspiration from the excitement and enthusiasm from others who see his work.

Experience:
Seven years of experience tattooing professionally. Also a designer in acrylic painting and ball point pen.

Bio:

Darwin spent his teens forming and joining countless musical acts in search of great musicians who would some day become the backbone of his very own heavy hitting band ‘Darwins Bible’. “Being a singer/ guitarist for so many bands at such a young age, I was introduced to the intriguing art form of tattoos very early on.”

By his early twenties Darwin’s visual art was becoming greatly influenced by the incredible tattoos he was seeing over the years within the Toronto music scene. And so the artistic journey from canvas to skin began. With a love of tattoos growing along side the need to create, Darwin set upon the path of professional tattooing in his mid twenties.

“It’s an overwhelming experience to have a talent for grasping some ones personal thoughts of artistic expression, and the ability to put it on there skin for life.”

I got my first tattoo 6yrs ago and it’s amateur at the best. Wouldn’t even compare, still it was free. I want to expand, get some new motives of one of my favourite grunge bands etc as well, do a “make over” of the amateur one I now have. Have been to two different tattoo shops here where I live in Europe and they weren’t very forthcoming concerning the color of my skin, ie, because I’m more of a milk-chocolate kinda lady, and want color tats that would represent all the continents I’ve lived on so far. Will be in Toronto at the end of July2010 and want to make an appointment AND get a tattoo done, so my questions are: would color not show over my dark skin?. Can I still make an appointment for the time frame I’ll be there (2wks, sorry!)).

    Cheers and ciao!
