Soon to be completed in a few more sessions, this tattoo of Jesus and Mary was chosen because the bearer is a strong believer in God. The tattoo is a symbol of protection of evil and paints a picture of the culture he lives by.

Tigger from Winnie the Pooh is looking a little faded, and needed a complete overhaul. Yovany first sketched out a bouquet of flowers and covered it up with a bright and colourful piece. Can’t even see the little tiger anymore.

The original tattoo was a sun that was a little unbalanced, so she asked Yovany to do a cover up on it. He went over top of it with some sweet pea flowers, with vibrant purple colours. She plans to come in to have colour added to the stem, in order to fully cover up the original tattoo.

This tattoo was in honour of the bearers grandmother, who had a fascination with owls. She had a large collection of them and was looking to have a tattoo that reflected her femininity & wisdom. The branches and cherry blossoms were done freehand on this piece.

Update: It’s done! Taking an artistic view of Toronto’s landmarks, colour has been fully added and it’s set to go – fully mimicking the three original paintings from the client’s favourite artists.
The client is from Toronto’s west end and appreciates urban art and architecture. As a collector, he owns a few pieces from two of his favourite artists who he wanted on his arm. He also wanted Darwin to include his own artwork into the overall design.
The tattoo shows three actually paintings from the artists, Darwin, the Gladstone Hotel, The Great Hall, alleyways of Bathurst Street, and Yonge Street. The piece will take approximately four to five sessions to complete.
