Work in Progress: The Family (Back Tattoo), Part 2

Background:
This great back piece from Yovany had some more work done to it. Each element of this tattoo represented a family member and their Chinese sign. In this installment, the dragon, who represented the woman’s mother, was coloured in.

A Scorpio’s Wish (Back Tattoo)

Background:
This unique take on a constellation came out very well. A lot of times, astrological tattoos can come out cheesy, but Hania was able to take the clients idea and made it look elegant with a design that pops.

Maple Leaf (Back Tattoo)

Background:
After previously posting Yovany’s maple leaf tattoo, we received a lot of good feedback on it.

More work was done on it, finishing up the two lions above it. The maple leaf also has healed and looks great underneath it! (Note: the letters were not done by Yovany)

Machu Picchu Tree (Upper Back Tattoo)

Background:
In the mountain ridge above the Urubamba Valley in Peru, there is an iconic lone tree that the client was interested in having tattooed on her back. The tree is a symbol of persistence and strength. In the above photo is the outline & comparison photo after completition.
