Cherry Blossom (Back Tattoo)

Work in Progress: Koi Fish, Stars, & Cherry Blossoms (Upper Arm Tattoo)
 Background:
The client had came to Peter before for a tattoo of his name, so he returned back to get started on his upper arm tattoo. The tattoo includes a Koi fish, stars, and cherry blossoms. The Koi, which is swimming upwards to give good luck and fortune to him. He plans to come back to have the rest coloured in. More pics to come. By Peter Belej. |

Background:
This tattoo was done to represent the client’s special people in her life. While initials were part of the original plan, the client and Hania both went with having each crane representing a specific person.

Background:
More work has been done on the full back Geisha. This time around, Yovany shaded in the details on the hand, fabric, hair, and paper umbrella.

Work in Progress: Geisha (Forearm Tattoo)
Background:
Yovany has been busy with the Geishas lately. This one was done as a sleeve for a client who originally had flowers on her arm. Yovany drew a freehand design of a geisha with waterfalls coming down from her shoulder into a river, complete with a landscape and cherry blossom trees. He also added a pagoda and Asian inspired scenery behind the geisha.
The outline and some of the colouring are done and will come back to finish it off soon. Stay tuned.

Background:
See Part 1 of the Geisha full back tattoo. This next session involved adding colour and shading to the face and neck, her clothing, and cherry blossoms.

Work in Progress: Geisha (Full Back Tattoo)
Background:
Client is a hairdresser and stylist, so a tattoo representing beauty was only fitting. Yovany designed a large back tattoo of a Geisha, a symbol of the female beauty.
The first session was the outline (in the first photo), and a cherry blossom tree was added in the second photo. We’ll have her next session added in a week, where colour was added to the Geisha’s clothing.
