Skeleton Key (Leg Tattoo)

Background:
Unfortunately a photo wasn’t taken of the tattoo previously on her leg, but Peter’s cover up of the skeleton key was drawn over top a self-made tattoo (and as you all have seen from our posts, those are not recommended to do on yourselves).

The skeleton key was a neat piece that the client was looking to have, and Peter also added a bit of red to finish it.

Demon Horse Chicken, Part 2 (Leg Tattoo)

With the outline previously done by Peter for Steven our piercer (see above), colour was added to the demon-horse-chicken hybrid. The colours came out vibrant, one of Peter’s specialties.

Demon Horse Chicken (Leg Tattoo)

Background:
This is one of Steven’s many other traditional style of tattoos with Peter. This time Peter drew up a demon horse head with a goblet and a chicken foot base. Whoa. The detail is crisp and will have it coloured in next time around.

Diamond (Shin/Ankle Tattoo)

Background:
This is another addition to the classic theme on Steven, our piercer at Black Line Studio. The shape fit perfectly with the other tattoos Peter had done for him. He also plans to have a ruby done on the other leg in the same place, but facing the other direction. “All part of a master plan” he says. More soon.

Take a look at a few of Steven’s other tattoos that Peter had done for him.

Roses (Ankle Tattoo)

This traditional rose tattoo was done by Peter on her ankle, complete with colour and leaves.

Passion for Her (Arm tattoo)

Background:
While Yovany usually does realistic tattoos, this is one of his only traditional pieces. The client is a hairstylist and looking to incorporate this into his tattoo. The portrait in the piece is his wife and the passion he has for her and his profession.

Shark Missile

Background:
Great, fun little tattoo from Peter. This was the original tattoo that Peter did on himself during his apprenticeship, except a lot better now! A neat stylized traditional design with both a shark and a missile hybrid.

Peter’s “Anchor of Hope”

Background
This was the client’s second tattoo from Peter. He was looking for a tattoo with a traditional feel, so Peter designed an Anchor of Hope for him, in similar colours and style as the Antiques tattoo he had previously drawn for Steven.
